How do I login?

Once you have successfully reached the Manheim website, located on the right side of the page you will see two blank fields with a login button. Fill in the appropriate details and click “Login”. Typically your username will be your email address.

I am having trouble logging in. who can help me?

Firstly, ensure you are typing your login details correctly. The password field is case sensitive. If you still seem to have trouble logging in, contact the Manheim support team on 0800 408 488, or email us at: support@manheim.co.nz.

What do I do if I forget my password?

If you need to retrieve a forgotten password simply click the “forgot password” link in the login area of our homepage. Alternatively you can call us on 0800 408 488, or email us at: support@manheim.co.nz.

How do I register to become a member?

Click on the Log On tab in the top right hand corner of any page on the website.

What is the difference between a standard member and full member?

A standard member is able to search but not buy, so has no online bidding controls. A full member can use many features including online buying.

How do I access the members area?

Simply navigate to www.manheim.co.nz and enter your login details on the right of the screen in the login area.

Do I need to login to purchase vehicles online?

Yes. You can register to become a Manheim member from the homepage.

What are the costs to register as a full member for Manheim?

You will be required to pay a bidding bond and a bidding bond administration fee. Bidding bonds are only required to bid and buy vehicles online. There is no charge to register and bid in person at any of our locations. For further information please refer to the online registration form.

What is Simulcast?

Simulcast is an electronic selling stream that extends the physical auction experience onto the Internet. Using video/audio streaming you can see and hear all the live action and participate in the auction online.

What is BID & BUYNOW?

BID & BUYNOW gives you the ability to utilise three specific selling streams. Firstly, purchase immediately in BUYNOW mode. Secondly, you can bid and take part in an Internet style auction. Finally, a combination of the two so you can bid on a vehicle or purchase the vehicle instantly.

What is “Your Maximum Bid”?

Your Maximum Bids are secure electronic bids that represent people if they are unable to participate in an auction. You simply place your maximum bid in a Simulcast auction catalogue and your bid will be taken incrementally as if you were actually placing your bids. At no time does the auctioneer ever become aware of the user’s maximum bid.

What is My Watchlist?

Manheim Simulcast auctions give you the ability to flag vehicles they contain. Upon adding a vehicle to your Watchlist you will be notified visually and by audio to let you know the flagged vehicle will be offered shortly. Please note this Watchlist does not show the sales results after the auction.

What are Saved Searches?

Saved Searches are queries such as vehicle make & colour that can be saved and queried at any time.

How do I pay for a vehicle?

The balance of money owed on the vehicle after your deposit should be paid by 4pm the next business day after the sale. A buyers administration fee is also applicable to each vehicle sold in public auctions. Payment can be made in the form of cash, bank cheque, credit card (processing fee applies), BPay (overnight transaction) or Direct Deposit (can be an overnight transaction). Purchase of 2 or more vehicles requires payment for all vehicles in full before any can exit the site.

How am I invoiced for purchased vehicles?

Invoices are automatically sent on the conclusion of a sale and will be emailed instantly.

What is an Auction Calendar?

The auction calendar is a powerful tool that shows all Manheim auctions across Australia. The calendar is printer friendly and can be customized with a large array of options.
